Agent setup guide

Amazon Review Request Sender

Every day, each recent Amazon order that Amazon says is eligible gets Amazon's own “Request a Review”, counted in code and summarised for you.

Coming soon — waiting for Amazon Seller approval About 5 min to set up

What it does

Every day, each recent Amazon order that Amazon says is eligible gets Amazon's own “Request a Review”, counted in code and summarised for you.

  • Every morning, finds your shipped Amazon orders from the last 40 days and leaves out, in code, those under 5 days old.
  • Asks Amazon for each order whether “Request a Review” is allowed right now (5 to 30 days after delivery, once per order).
  • Sends Amazon's standard review request for each eligible order, the same as the button in Seller Central.
  • Counts in code what was requested, what wasn't eligible and any errors, and emails you the summary with a short note.
  • Dates are worked out in code, never by the AI: days until or since each date, the window and business days are computed in your workflow's time zone, and records outside the window are skipped before the AI sees them.

What it needs

  • A paid plan (agents run live on paid plans).
  • An AI provider key (Settings → AI Providers).
  • Amazon Seller, connected in Settings → Integrations.

What it doesn't do

  • It never contacts buyers outside Amazon's own request, and never asks for positive reviews or offers incentives.
  • Amazon writes the request; it can't be customised.
  • It sees no buyer names or addresses, and checks up to 100 orders per run.

Availability and plans

Coming soon — waiting for Amazon Seller approval

The agent is built, but Amazon Seller is still waiting for the vendor's approval. It becomes available on its own once that app is live; until then it can't be bought or set up.

Included free on the Enterprise plan; on other paid plans it's a one-time purchase per workspace (the price is on the Agents page). The Agents page in the app always shows its current status.

Before you start

  • A paid plan: agents run live, and the Free plan only runs Dry Runs.
  • An AI provider key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more) in Settings → AI Providers. AI usage is billed by your provider.
  • These apps, connected in Settings → Integrations: Amazon Seller.
  • Nothing to send: the agent runs on a schedule.
  • About 5 minutes.

Set it up step by step

Get the agent first (buy it, or it's already yours when your plan includes it), then in Agents → My agents press “Set up this agent”. That creates the agent's workflow in your workspace (it counts towards your plan's workflow limit) and opens the canvas with a setup checklist above it. Each item links to the exact place to go and ticks itself off when it's done.

1. Connect your AI provider

The AI steps run on your own key (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google and more). Add one in Settings → AI Providers.

2. Connect Amazon Seller

Connect your Seller Central account (Settings → Integrations → Amazon Seller) and pick your store.

3. Pick your Amazon store

Open “Find shipped orders”, “Ask Amazon if a request is allowed” and “Send Amazon's review request” and pick your Amazon Seller connection.

SettingWhat to enterIn step
Amazon Seller accountYour Seller Central account and store (marketplace). Pick your connected Amazon Seller account.“Find shipped orders”
Amazon Seller account (checks, same one)The same Amazon Seller connection. Pick your connected Amazon Seller account.“Ask Amazon if a request is allowed”
Amazon Seller account (requests, same one)The same Amazon Seller connection. Pick your connected Amazon Seller account.“Send Amazon's review request”

4. Your summary

Open “Note anything that needs you” and replace the placeholder, then enter your email on “Email your summary”.

SettingWhat to enterIn step
About your storeReplace the placeholder with your brand, who reads the summary and anything they should know. It starts as “[YOUR BRAND, WHO READS THIS SUMMARY AND ANYTHING THEY SHOULD KNOW (E.G. WE SELL FBA AND MERCHANT-FULFILLED)]” until you replace it.“Note anything that needs you”
Your email (summary)Who gets the daily summary (up to 5, comma-separated). Replace the example address. It starts as “you@your-business.example” until you replace it.“Email your summary”

5. Test it with Dry Run

Press Dry Run: the agent runs on sample data with no messages sent and nothing written to your apps.

6. Switch the trigger on

Open the trigger, set your time zone and switch the schedule on. It runs every day at 10:00.

How it works

The agent is a normal workflow with 13 steps (1 AI step). You can open, edit and monitor it like any other workflow.

  • Every day at 10:00 — Runs on a schedule (cron 0 10 * * *, UTC — change it in the trigger's settings). Checks your recent Amazon orders every morning. Set your time zone on the trigger.
  • Work out the last 40 days — Step. In code: the date 40 days ago (orders older than that are past Amazon's window).
  • Find shipped orders — Amazon Seller: Find orders. Finds shipped orders from the last 40 days in your store (no buyer names or addresses).
  • Leave out orders under 5 days old — Step. In code, not AI: an order less than 5 days old can't be 5 days past delivery yet, so it isn't checked today.
  • Each order — Repeats the steps below for each item (up to 100 per run). Checks each order with Amazon (up to 100 per run).
  • [For each item — “Each order”] Ask Amazon if a request is allowed — Amazon Seller: Check if a review can be requested. Asks Amazon whether “Request a Review” is available for this order right now (delivered 5–30 days ago and not requested yet).
  • [For each item — “Each order”] Allowed now? — Decision: picks the branch to follow. In code, from Amazon's answer: only orders Amazon says are eligible get a request.
  • [For each item — “Each order”] Not eligible today — Kept in the run history. Branch: Not today. Too early, too late, or already requested; Amazon decides.
  • [For each item — “Each order”] Send Amazon's review request — Amazon Seller: Request a review. Branch: Eligible. Sends Amazon's standard “Request a Review” email for the order (Amazon writes it; once per order).
  • Count what happened — Step. In code, not AI: requests sent, orders not eligible today and any errors.
  • Note anything that needs you — AI step (runs on your AI provider key). AI reads the counted results and explains any errors in plain words (for example a missing Amazon permission), without typing numbers.
  • Email your summary — Sends an email from your workspace's sender. Emails you the counts and the note.
  • Done — Kept in the run history. The run history keeps every order's check.

Test it with Dry Run

Press Dry Run in the canvas. The agent runs on the sample data stored on its trigger (the “Sample data for Dry Run” box), so you can check every step's output before anything is live.

  • Nothing is sent or written: app actions, emails and Slack posts are simulated, and AI steps don't call your AI provider.
  • For-each loops repeat only the first 3 items.

Go live

  • Open the trigger, set your time zone and switch the schedule on. It runs every day at 10:00.
  • Scheduled runs start only once the schedule is activated, and can't repeat faster than your plan's minimum interval.
  • The setup checklist adds a “paid plan” item before activation: live runs need a paid plan (the Free plan only runs Dry Runs).
  • When every checklist item is done and the trigger is on, the checklist says “Live — this agent is running”. Follow its runs in the workflow's History tab and in Analytics → Agents.

Questions

Is this allowed by Amazon?

Yes: it uses Amazon's own Solicitations API, the same as the “Request a Review” button in Seller Central. Amazon writes the email and decides which orders are eligible.

Can I change the message?

No. Amazon's request is a fixed template; sellers can't customise it or add incentives.

Will a buyer get two requests?

No. Amazon allows one request per order and answers “not eligible” after that, so the agent can check the same order on several days safely.

Troubleshooting

  • “No AI provider connected” or a rejected key: connect or fix the key in Settings → AI Providers, then press Test there.
  • A checklist item stays unticked: the setting is still empty or still contains its placeholder text. Open the step from the checklist and fill it in.
  • An app step fails with “Needs reconnect”: the account's access was revoked or expired. Reconnect it in Settings → Integrations.
  • It didn't run at the expected time: the schedule must be activated, and its time is in the trigger's timezone.
  • A step failed: open the run in History and check that step in the Trace tab for the error and what it received.
