Connecting an app
- Open Integrations in the sidebar (or Settings → Integrations) and press Add integration.
- Pick the app. For sign-in apps you're sent to the app's own consent screen; approve the access requested. For API-key apps, paste the key or credentials the form asks for — they're tested before anything is saved.
- You're returned to Fluxo Flow and the connection appears in the list. Tokens are stored encrypted on the server, never in your browser.
- To remove a connection, press Disconnect on it.
Credential vault
For services without an OAuth connection, store the secret in the credential vault (the Vault section of Integrations). The form offers Bearer Token, API Key, Basic Auth and Custom Header Secret. Steps and webhook triggers then reference the credential by name instead of holding the secret.
Server-side encryption
The secret leaves your browser once, over TLS. The server encrypts it with pgcrypto using a key kept outside the database, and stores only the encrypted value plus a short preview (for example the first 6 and last 4 characters). Previews are only shown to admins and owners, and the full secret is never shown again.
Rotating credentials
- Add the new credential alongside the old one.
- Update the steps (or webhook trigger) that use it to point at the new credential, and save.
- Dry Run, then Run to confirm it works.
- Archive the old credential. Archived credentials stop working immediately and can't be restored, so do this last.
Environment labels
Credentials can be labelled dev, staging or prod (prod by default). The label is for your own organisation only: steps always use exactly the credential you picked, whatever its label.
Common errors & fixes
"Your connection expired"
The app revoked Fluxo Flow's access (for example after a password change or a security event on their side). Disconnect it in Integrations and connect it again.
"Couldn't connect that account"
The consent step was cancelled or some permissions weren't approved. Try again and approve every permission requested.
"We couldn't securely store that secret"
Nothing was saved. Try again; if it keeps happening, contact support with the error ID.
